Edinburgh Flying Scot – Park and Ride is a fantastic airport parking choice for holidaymakers using the Scottish capital as a springboard to adventures elsewhere in the UK and further afield.
It’s open 24/7 and provides you with comfortable and spacious shuttle buses on demand, which ferry you to the main terminal building in just two minutes.
You leave your keys with trusted staff at this facility, so you can be sure you won’t lose them during holiday shenanigans.
Security
Flying Scot is a long-established Edinburgh Airport car parking company and prides itself on providing a cost-effective offering that’s ultra-secure.
There’s a 10-foot high electrified security fence and any would-be thief who made it over the top without being frazzled would be spotted day or night by infrared and regular floodlighting, then dealt with in no uncertain terms by their team of guard dogs and handlers. Woe betide the sticky-fingered auto burglar who tries to ply their trade in this location.
The car parks can assist and carry wheelchairs etc but do not have wheelchair access - please contact the car park after booking for any further assistance as Flying Scot are happy to help in any way.
Please take a copy of your confirmation email with you on your day of travel.
Full onsite exclusive valeting service 24/7 available to all of the customers of Flying Scot and at very reduced and affordable rates.
Customers cannot park ‘ Vans ‘ or larger commercial vehicles at the car park as the car park will not accept them. Only cars and 4x4 vehicles are accepted.
Park outside the car park's reception and one of the merry Flying Scot crew will take your keys and park your car for you while you catch the transfer bus. It really couldn't be easier.
The car park's own coach runs every 15-20 minutes, 24 hours a day, and takes 3 minutes to reach the coach park at the airport. You'll then just need to walk 5 minutes to the terminal from the coach park. The coach is included in the price. It's so fast, you won't even realise you've taken a transfer at all, and it's included in the price.
While you're away, your car will be stored in a secured compound surrounded by an electric fence. The Flying Scot staff are friendly, but the guard dogs they use to patrol the car park at regular intervals aren't! Floodlighting and CCTV are in use and you need to enter a security code to exit the car park, so you can be safe in the knowledge that your car is being looked after.
On your return please call the driver mobile number on your confirmation email for a collection and if you have a query with your booking or change of date or times - please text the office mobile number provided on your confirmation. Please head to stand 7 in the coach park where the buses will be waiting.
