Airport vehicle transfers

• Where the NCP transfer vehicles are operating, they are sanitised after each trip is completed ready for the next group of passengers. We’ve also implemented the below changes which you should be aware of before booking:

• Queuing: If you’re queuing on one of the NCP shelters or Customer Service cabins, please ensure wherever possible you adhere to the 2m rule or 1m+ if you are wearing a face covering, following all required government guidelines

• Transfer vehicles: These may have additional measures installed e.g. perspex divider screens and drivers may be wearing full PPE

• Boarding and exiting: Please ensure that you follow the driver’s instructions with regards to entering and exiting the transfer vehicle. This may be different to normal e.g. using doors at the rear of the vehicle as well as the side

• Luggage: The driver will no longer exit the vehicle to assist with your luggage, please follow the driver’s instructions to ensure the correct storage of luggage

• Face coverings: As on public transport, we expect you to bring your own face covering and wear this while on our transfer vehicles. We will not be able to supply additional coverings

• Vehicle capacity: NCP may not fill the vehicle to its capacity on each journey. This is to ensure sufficient social distancing, and may result in longer than advertised transfer times and / or frequencies

• NCP Edinburgh Scotpark car park provides easy, hassle-free parking

• Easily accessible location just off the A8

• A complimentary, four-minute bus ride to the terminal

• Self Park - Park your car and keep your keys

Please take proof of purchase with you on your day of travel.

At the entry barrier, your number plate will be read and we'll issue you a ticket automatically. If no ticket is issued, please press for assistance. Please keep your ticket safe as you'll need this on exit. The NCP Scotpark free shuttle bus service will take you to the airport terminal coach park in approximately 3 minutes.

Take the courtesy bus to the car park. If you have pre-booked your space with NCP Scotpark, drive to the exit barrier and insert your ticket for your parking to be validated. Once validated, the barrier will raise. If the barrier doesn't raise, please press the assistance button. The return service departs from Coach Park Stand 8 (the same place you were dropped off). Please call 0131 333 3391 to arrange pick up.

Approaching Edinburgh airport from the East or West on the A8 Glasgow Road, take the exit for Edinburgh airport/Park and Ride.

Navigate the dual roundabout onto Eastfield Road, following signs for Edinburgh airport and avoiding the immediate turn to the left (this is a different car park).

Drive down Eastfield Road for 0.1 mile and turn left at the next roundabout (you'll see our bright yellow NCP sign at the car park entrance).

Drive up the side road to our car park and turn left for Car Park 1 and Advantage Parking or right for Car Park 2.
