This practical and popular car park saves you time and money. With no stress. And no walking.
A quick 3 minutes from M1 J10 and fast buses to the terminal. Airparks has free wifi, even on the buses.
The car park has
Accessible spaces and toilets, plus well-lit bus shelters.
The buses lower, and have ramps and space for a wheelchair.
If you're planning on returning early try and give the car park as much notice as possible so they can have your car ready for you.
Most standard cars (without trailers/not commercial vehicles) will be accepted at the car park as long as they are less than 2m wide x 2.1m high x 5m long. The car park cannot accept any high-sided vehicles, minibuses, mobile homes, lorries, caravans, trailers or vehicles larger than the above maximum dimensions. Vehicles with a taxi license plate can be parked on-site, but cannot use the Return Greet or Meet and Greet services offered by Airparks.
Late returns: The car park offers a grace period until midnight at their discretion. Any longer than this and you'll be charged the car park's standard rate of £20 per day. This is subject to change.
The shuttle bus can't accommodate large sporting equipment, so we'd recommend dropping any off with your passengers at the terminal first, then driving to Airparks.
Drive straight into the car photo booth at the car park, which scans your car for reference and protection (this takes no more than 5 seconds). Park in the arrivals lane and check in using one of the machines, which will give you a ticket. You'll also get a tag which you need to attach to your keys.
Drop your keys into the key-drop box outside reception & dash; make sure you put them in the correct box for your lane number – and catch the shuttle bus to the terminal.
The bus is included in the price and runs regularly 24 hours a day. The journey takes around 14 minutes, plus there's free wifi on board! Your car will be parked for you while you make your way to the terminal.
When you return catch the shuttle bus back to the car park and dash; you'll need to show the driver the ticket you got on your arrival.
Once you're back at the car park, head to the check-out shelter and follow the instructions on the key dispenser – it'll return your keys and tell you where your car is parked.
a
On your way out just insert your ticket into the exit barrier and wait for it to lift. Don't worry if you lose your ticket, just take your photo ID to reception and answer some security questions.
