A driver meets customers in the short stay undercover car park in facilities provided by Heathrow Airport, so customers can leave their vehicle in safe, weatherproof surroundings, and meets them again in the same place when the return flight arrives. The product covers both drop-off and collection at Terminal 5 only. The return terminal can be amended directly with Maple Parking, but this must be done before the day the booking starts. Customers call Maple Parking when they are 20 minutes away from the airport so the driver can be ready, then proceed to the meeting point. Customers should have their paperwork or booking reference ready, and return flight details to hand. Terminal 5 (TW6 2GA): customers follow signs for Terminal 5 Short Stay Car Park, drive up the ramp, filter to the right, drive under the yellow height restriction, keep left and follow signs for Short Stay Level 4. Customers follow the Avis signs towards the third set of barriers, take a ticket (which is handed to the Handover Captain), follow the OFF AIRPORT signs and park in the Off Airport Meet & Greet bays.

Once landed and with luggage collected (or once through passport control if travelling with hand luggage only), customers call Maple Parking to say they have returned so the car can be delivered. Customers need the unique barcoded card given on arrival to collect the keys from the handover team. Without it, the customer's passport must be seen and photographed, and it must match the booking name. Customers then go to the meeting point: Terminal 5 Short Stay Car Park, Level 2, Off Airport Meet & Greet.
